Am I actually captured by the new laws?
If your practice helps clients buy, sell, or transfer property, companies, or legal arrangements — or if you hold, manage, or control client money — you are likely captured. Our setup wizard confirms this in under 2 minutes.
How long does setup take?
Most practices complete their initial program setup in 2–3 hours. This includes your risk assessment, policy document, and process document — all generated from your answers.
Is ClientCheck built on AUSTRAC's starter kit?
Yes. ClientCheck is built around AUSTRAC's Accounting Program Starter Kit — the official compliance framework for small practices. Your generated documents reflect the starter kit structure.
Where is my data stored?
All data is stored in Australia (Sydney region). ClientCheck is built on Australian cloud infrastructure. Your client data never leaves Australia.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your compliance records remain fully accessible for 90 days after cancellation so you can export everything you need. After that, records are archived and retained for the full 7-year period required by AUSTRAC — you won't lose data that you're legally required to keep.
Can I import my existing clients?
Yes. ClientCheck includes a bulk import tool for existing clients. Clients imported before 1 July 2026 are correctly marked as pre-commencement customers under AUSTRAC's transitional rules — which means CDD is not immediately required for them.
